👋 Hey there! I'm Ryan — a passionate software engineer on a mission to solve real-world problems through code.
My journey into tech began in the summer of 2015, when I discovered the magic of building websites with just HTML and CSS. That spark quickly turned into a full-blown enthusiasm for programming — a creative outlet that let me build things from scratch and tackle problems head-on. That led me to pursue a B.S. in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge, which I received in 2022.
Since 2023, I've been working full-time at Northrop Grumman. In my first two years, I was building mission-critical software for the UH-60V Black Hawk helicopter, contributing to multiple areas within the cockpit system.
These days, I'm currently working on a new project within Northrop Grumman called Blue WASP, which is software used by the U.S. Navy to prevent against swarming boat attacks. It's complex, high-stakes, and incredibly rewarding knowing that the software I produce will be used to save lives!
When I'm off the clock, you'll probably find me exploring new tools and frameworks for my personal projects, sharpening my skills with a competitive programming challenge (currently on the road to 1000 LeetCode problems solved 🎉 — see my progress), or just geeking out over the next big tech trend. Coding isn't just my job — it's what I love to do.
